Kevin Sanjari – President

Kevin brings over 30 years of passionate experience in security and investigations. Skilled in crisis management, emergency management, physical security, corporate security, and building great partnerships with our customers.

Kevin has been with Paragon since 1987. He is responsible for the efficient operation of Paragon. His leadership drives performance in the company and his management abilities deliver efficient strategies for the success of our business.

Kevin is a current member of ASIS International, BOMA, and the Toronto Board of Trade.

Bud Ralph, C.A. – Vice President, Finance

Bud joined Paragon in 2002.

He has been a Chartered Accountant since 1981. Bud has over two decades of experience in the security industry, having held executive roles in other national providers.

His management responsibilities include all aspect of finance from Payroll to Business Planning. Since joining Paragon, Bud has implemented a fully-integrated finance system to increase the accuracy of all functions and allow for any level of future growth.

Hamed Fallahnia – Vice President, IT

Hamed began his career with Paragon in 2011. His Information Technology experience includes expertise from the military and the medical sectors. In 2005 he transitioned to the security industry, developing innovative systems to support security guard functions. He has been instrumental in creating Paragon’s Private Data Centre with real-time replication, automatic failover clustering, and disaster recovery to support our Business Continuity Plan and business functions.

Paul Eccleston – Vice President, Client Services

Paul joined Paragon Security in 2004.

He has been in the security industry since 1983 and brings over 35 years of commercial security experience to our team. In 2015, Paul began his role as Vice President, Operations.

Paul successfully manages a portfolio that includes the most prestigious buildings in the GTA. Paragon relies on him for his direct approach to customer service and his close working relationships with his team.

Reuben Smith – Vice President, Residential Division

Reuben is a security professional with nearly 30 years of experience in various positions. He joined Paragon in 2008 and has made tremendous contributions to Paragon’s growth and customer retention in the residential division. With a proven ability to build new teams, Reuben leads them to success.

He has been instrumental in coaching his team and delivering a first-class customer service and satisfaction program at Paragon.

Reuben is a long-life professional learner and has completed many business and industry related certification programs including a mini-MBA from Schulich School of Business. He is currently enrolled in the Accredited Enterprise Security Manager (AESM™) program through PPI and the University of Waterloo.

Covell Philips – Vice President, Client Services

Covell has been with Paragon since 2014. He is an accomplished security professional with over 25 years of experience in operations, management, client services, and business development. Covell is an experienced leader with a proven ability to influence change.

Covell is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Law Enforcement Program and obtained a mini-MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University. He was promoted to Vice President in May 2019, a role in which his responsibilities include client retention, leadership development, culture building, organizational growth, and strategic initiatives.

Larry Scolaro – Vice President, Client Services

Larry joined Paragon in 2012. He is a 30-year veteran of the security industry with a proven ability to effectively lead, manage, train, and evaluate staff to meet an ever-increasing demand in customer satisfaction. His strong sense of self-discipline and a focused approach to planning and setting priorities has proven effective in the areas of customer needs, program development, and implementation.

Larry’s diverse security expertise in both residential and commercial properties have made him an invaluable asset to both Paragon and its clients.

Larry has completed multiple business and industry relevant certification courses at McMaster and attending York University for Law and Society. He has recently completed a Schulich School of Business mini-MBA at York University and is a member of ASIS International.

Ana Estrada – Vice President, Human Resources and Locating

Ana joined Paragon in February 2016. She is an HR professional with over 15 years of corporate experience.

Ana is responsible for strategic planning and execution of all aspects of human resource functions at Paragon and oversees a team of professionals responsible for hiring and processing more than 3000 employees annually.

Ana has a CHRP designation, and she was awarded as the Employee Experience Leader by CSPN Women in Leadership 2020.
